OUR COMPANY CULTURE DEFINES US
Hi! This is Monica here. You might have already talked to me about our interview process or any other non-tech questions you had about us, about InfiniSwiss. I joined the team 1 and a half years ago covering for my colleague who went on maternity leave. As for any other beginning, I was anxious about what was to come. But little did I know what team I joined. And it was a more than pleasant surprise. As you might have guessed, I am the HR person/ the events one/ the social media and admin as well.

We often hear companies saying that they have a healthy company culture and that means they keep their employees happy by giving them breakfasts at the office or taking them to a Summer party or to a teambuilding once a year. I have been working with companies like that and thought that was the right company culture. I know, I know it all depends on each and every company and its particularities but, as I am working on developing my professional skills by learning about employer branding, I found out everything that InfiniSwiss is doing right from this point of view. And I want to share my thoughts with you.
Why InfiniSwiss has a healthy company culture
Of course she’ll say only good things about the company, she works there. Yes, I know this is your first thought, but even so: read the article till the end and I dare you to come and convince yourself everything I’ve written here is true:
- Transparency is not only a word written on the website under the “Values” section. Is what both Adi and Mihai (our co-founders) adopt in conversation. We, the others, know when the company is doing good, when it’s meh and a bit below meh. Being true to everyone in the company gives us all a feeling of belonging.
- The feeling of belonging to a team that is willing to help you whenever you are in need. For example, whenever my colleagues talk about anything tech-related, they also explain it to me in a way that I understand.
- Learning is one of our objectives and we invest in resources for each and every colleague. Whether we talk about online courses, conferences or masterclasses, we’re there to support them.
- Flexible work is really flexible as soon as our clients know when you are available. If you are a night owl, feel free to do your tasks during that time. But make sure you are joining the team’s meetings and keep everyone up-to-date. We won’t nug you with unnecessary meetings/ emails or messages. Keep it short and simple.
- We only make promises we can keep to both our clients and our colleagues. And we don’t make compromises when it comes to professionalism and won’t hire anyone under pressure. We do this in order to keep the high standards within the team. These are the first 5 values that define us and that help the team grow and, most importantly, stay together. For example, I have been the latest acquisition to the team and we have colleagues that have been with us for more than 7 years. Aaand what, in my opinion, is outstanding is that ex-colleagues still come to the office to work together or to organise events such as boardgames evening. But more on our events will come in the next blog post.
